This is one off my most loved paintings based on an old master painting by Arnold Bocklin called the isle of the dead  . But in my version of which their are countless hommages of, appering in the boat are the Tooth fairy the Easter bunny and Father Christmas all symbols of my childrens and my chilhood which  where slowly being eroded by the onset of adulthood
